Leadership Development Impact Assessment Toolkit (LDI)

The Canadian Health Leadership Network (CHLNet)’s vision is better leadership, better health—together. In pursuit of that vision, CHLNet has championed—as part of its Canadian Leadership Action Plan and Strategic Plan—efforts both individually and collectively by its members to improve leadership through effective leadership development programming. Some of these programs emanate from LEADS Canada; some (e.g. Canadian Blood Services Leadership Development Program) are designed internally. Regardless of program origin, one comment is consistently made by all member partners: we lack evidence to show whether or not the programs actually make a difference. As a result, member partners and the CHLNet Research & Evaluation Working Group, established a project to design a leadership development impact assessment tool. This toolkit is the result of that work. NOTE:  At present, this toolkit is available to CHLNet partners only.
