Network Partner Roundtable Recap

During the pandemic, the importance of health leadership becomes even more paramount as we firmly shift into the second wave across the country. At the November Roundtable, partners provided us with valuable data on building health leadership capabilities for 21st century care, and effective strategies to support leadership in uncertain times. Much appreciation to both Mike Villeneuve (Canadian Nurses Association) and Dr. Johny Van Aerde (Canadian Society of Physician Leaders) for their illuminating presentations that set the stage so well for our small group conversations that day.

We also said goodbye to Chris Power as CHLNet Co Chair, who retires from CPSI after a long and lasting legacy of health leadership in this country. We welcomed Dr. Susan Moffat-Bruce (CEO of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada) as our new cochair, working closely with Kathy MacNeil (CEO of Island Health). Please contact Kelly Grimes (kgrimes@chlnet.ca) if you are a partner and unable to attend but would like a quick phone update.
