The Canadian Health Leadership Network (CHLNet) is pleased to welcome Melissa Braithwaite to its Board of Directors for the 2026–2029 term.
Melissa currently serves as Vice President and Chief People Officer at The Good Samaritan Society, where she provides executive leadership in people strategy, labour relations, workforce planning, executive development, and organizational transformation across a multi-site continuing care organization in Western Canada.
She brings extensive senior leadership experience across health care and government, including her previous role as Assistant Deputy Minister, HR Client Service Delivery for the Government of Alberta, where she led large-scale workforce and system modernization initiatives.
Melissa’s expertise in health system leadership, workforce sustainability, and organizational transformation will be a valuable addition to CHLNet’s governance as the network continues to advance leadership capacity and evidence-informed practice across Canada.
